Dr. Jay Adams was born and raised in Michigan. He attended college and medical school there under scholarship from the United States Air Force. He subsequently trained in pathology and then dermatology under Air Force sponsorship and served twenty years in the Air Force, stationed in Hawaii, Alaska, Texas, Ohio and Washington. He joined Carson Dermatology in 1998 and practices medical and surgical dermatology including the use of Mohs Micrographic Surgery for the treatment of skin cancer. He is married to Dr. Ruth Adams also of Carson Dermatology and they have two daughters Emily and Claire.
